Understanding Your Ministry, Fulfilling Your Calling 2; The Ministry of the Saints

The following are the ministry of the saints:

  1. Ministry of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV)
  2. As believers, this is a ministry God has committed to us all. Angels can't do this ministry. It is an exclusive ministry of the saints. God has given us the privilege and honour to preach the good news. (Luke 16:19-31 KJV)

  3. Ministry of Intercession (James 5:16 KJV, AMP)
  4. The greatest manifestation of love is that you are able to pray for someone else. As a believer, you have the ministry to intercede for people.

There is a difference between pity and compassion. Pity is just feeling emotions without solutions, while compassion is emotion with solutions. When you are compassionate, your emotions will move you to the place of prayer, and prayer will bring forth solutions. (Galatians 6:2 KJV)

While your prayers will move God, your silence will incapacitate God. God does not have the right to intervene in situations unless you give Him the right of way.

  5. Ministry of Stewardship in The Local Assembly (Hebrews 6:10 NLT)
  6. One of the ways you show your love to God is by servimg Him, and other believers in your local assembly. Serve in your local assembly and contribute your own quota in the running of the church.

  7. Ministry of Discipleship (Matthew 28:19-20 AMP)
  8. It is your ministry to teach and train other believers unto maturity. (Romans 15:1-2 TPT)

Your goal should be to empower others to do what is right, and bring them to maturity; but to do this, you have to be grounded in the Word first. (Colossians 3:16 NLT; Galatians 4:19 KJV)

  9. The Ministry of Provision in the Local Assembly (Zachariah 1:17 KJV)
  10. The expansion of the prosperity of the local church is tied to the prosperity of the people. (Nehemiah 2:20 KJV)

God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant because the prosperity of His servant will result in the prosperity of the church. Your relationship with God should be symbiotic, not parasitic. If the lord is blessing you, you also have to be a blessing to the Lord, through the church. If you give for the furtherance of the church and the gospel, he will bless you.

You must prioritize your tithes, offerings, covenant givings, and have what you give to God from time to time.

As you begin to step into your ministry as a believer, you are giving other believers permission to do the same.
