Natured in Christ, Nurturing unto Christ 3; Exploring Divine Possibilities in the Nature of Christ (2nd Service)
Having a particular nature is not enough, you have to nurture that nature. This is why there are Christians that behave like unbelievers. If you are not nurturing the nature of Christ in you, there would be no expression of that nature. Being a Christian is not enough, you have to nurture that nature that makes you a Christian. Nature informs possibilities. What is possible in a being is dependent on the nature of that being, and as believers, we are partakers of the divine nature. (2 Peter 1-3-4 NLT) What are the possibilities that come with the nature of God? 1. Transformative possibilities (Gal 5:17-23 NLT) Before you had the nature of God, there was how you were. Now that you have the nature of God there is how you should be. 2. Empowerment possibilities (Mark 16:17-18 AMP) Now that you have the nature of Christ in you, there are certain empowerments, capabilities and power you have.
