When it comes to living in health, there are two major ways to go about it:
- By miracles
- By principles
The following are instances where miracles come to play:
- When you do not understand healing.
God uses healing miracles as a demonstration of His mercy, even to unbelievers.
- When God's children are babes (James 5:14-15 KJV)
- When the disease has a headstart on your faith.
As important as miracles are, there are principles designed by God for you to live your life by. There is a time where you shouldn't be miracle-dependent, but rather be principle-oriented. (Hebrews 5:11-12 NLT)
Miracles are supernatural intervention. They come when they are needed, however, they should not be our lifestyle. The Bible says the just shall live by the principle of faith, which means the just shall die without faith. Miracles are real, but we live by the principles of faith. (Habakkuk 2:4; Galatians 3:11; Romans 1:17 KJV)
Faith is your guarantee of life. It is very critical in your living. What oxygen is to man is what a faith is to a believer; he lives by it. If you are not operating in faith, then the death process has begun.
Faith is a learning, and it takes time. You keep learning till a time when you've mastered it. In any aspect where you are no longer hearing a message, your faith is depleting. (Romans 10:17 KJV)
It is best that you listen to healing messages and faith messages early, before you even see any symptom. If you are going to live by the principle of faith, then you must be hearing the Word of God.
There are two forms of hearing, when it comes to faith:
- Preacher of faith; what someone is saying to you
- Speaking of faith; what you are saying to yourself
What you speak in the face of an attack is what you have been hearing over time.
