Rivers and Wells Day 2; The Making of Prayer (Morning Session 2)

Altars have a direct impact on the work of your hands. If anything that concerns you is not doing well, it only shows that thing is calling for an altar.

Stop playing dead and ignoring things that are happening to you. Don't be used to bad things, raise an altar!

The first altar to raise over a situation is the altar of prayer. When there are issues and you want to raise an altar, the altar you raise is an altar of supplication.

Praying in the Holy Ghost is good. As good as it is, it shouldn't play down on the prayer of supplication. You have to expressly make a request over a matter. Tongues are vital and necessary, but it does not substitute the prayer of request. (Ephesians 1:17-18, Ephesians 3:16, Colossians 1:9, Colossians 4:12)

As you pray in tongues, even over your supplication, you must pray that supplication when God drops a word of prayer or scriptures in your heart.

When it comes to supplication, it is made; anything that is made has a sense of intentionality to it. You can edify yourself by chance. Supplication, on the other hand, is very intentional. When there is a matter that is harassing you, you go to God to supplicate about it intentionally.

How to Make Supplication

  • Find the Word over what is affecting and afflicting you
  • The first ingredient in supplication is the right Word for the matter. Pray till a scripture stands out for you

  • Consistency
  • In supplication, your mind cannot be unfruitful.

  • A definite instruction
  • Many times, instructions are a form of realignment concerning the work of your hands.
